The restaurant «Le Star*s» offers traditional cuisine, combining modernity and creativity. Fresh, local and seasonal products are preffered. Certified ISO 14001 (Environmental management system) since 2013, the Starling Hotel Lausanne has been working for many years to preserve the environment.
This is shown in the reduction of food waste by 15.5% since 2016, an optimized energy consumption and a saving of 206 tons of CO2 since 2013. In addition, the operators have installed thermal solar panels on the roof for hot water production. Employees have been involved and trained as well.
