Niesenbahn AG
With a voluntary contribution of 1% on the booked offer or product, guests have the opportunity to offset the CO2 emissions of their offer or product with myclimate and make a contribution to local sustainability. In this way, the guests achieve a double effect with their commitment. At the same time, the Niesenbahn AG doubles these contributions and invests in its own sustainability.
The Niesen (2,362 m above sea level) is a well-known touristic destination in the Bernese Oberland and landmark of the Lake Thun region. The longest funicular in the world runs in two sections from Mülenen, 693 metres above sea level, up to the Niesen summit. In addition to the cable car, the mountain lodge Niesen Kulm is the showpiece during the seven-month summer season. The environment and its protection is a central concern of the Niesenbahn.
