With these amounts, the CO2 emissions generated by the offers at Monte Tamaro are offset with myclimate. At the same time, Monte Tamaro doubles the contributions and invests it in its own sustainability. This way, guests get a double effect.
Monte Tamaro is an adventure mountain in the heart of Ticino. It offers a wide range of activities. A rope park with three different courses for various age groups is located in the middle of a magnificent forest with hundreds of years old beech trees. The starting point for various hikes and mountain bike routes is the Alpe Foppa. The toboggan run and the Tyrolienne are the perfect thing for adventurers looking for an adrenaline rush. The art trail, and the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli will delight those interested in culture. Last but not least there is a restaurant with traditional cuisine and a large sun terrace for connoisseurs.
New construction of gondola lift (planned 2024)
To expand its portfolio, several construction projects are planned for Monte Tamaro. These include the renovation of the «Rivera - Alpe Foppa» lift. Customer comfort and the ecological factor are clearly in the foreground here. The lift will be designed to be energy self-sufficient using new technologies and solar panels, and new spacious eight-person panorama cabins will be installed.
