IRONMAN Switzerland
With a voluntary contribution of CHF 6 (half-distance Rapperswil) and CHF 8 (full-distance Thun), athletes have the opportunity to offset their share of the CO2 emissions of IRONMAN Switzerland with myclimate and to make a contribution to local sustainability. In this way, the athletes achieve a double effect with their commitment. At the same time IRONMAN Switzerland doubles these contributions and invests in its own sustainability.
IRONMAN Switzerland AG is the organizer of IRONMAN Switzerland Rapperswil-Jona and IRONMAN Switzerland Thun, two annual triathlon events. Participants travel from all over the world to realize their life's dream and become an IRONMAN. The IRONMAN Switzerland events take athletes on a journey like nowhere else and lead them through almost untouched landscapes in the Bernese Oberland and the breathtaking Lake Zürich region.
Maintaining the local ecosystem is a top priority. Not least because of the beautiful landscape, many international athletes travel to Switzerland. IRONMAN maintains a respectful attitude towards nature and is striving to implement further measures for climate protection in the future.
