This is how it works:
When booking excursions and trips, customers can voluntarily invest the CO₂ emissions of their car journey in climate protection projects with myclimate with a contribution of between CHF 1.00 and CHF 6.00 (depending on the offer). In this way, guests benefit from a climate-neutral arrival and return journey. At the same time, GAST AG doubles these contributions and invests in its own local sustainability programmes, thereby reducing its own CO2 emissions and energy consumption.
GAST AG was founded in 1969 and is active in the areas of car travel, travel agency and waste disposal. GAST AG manages waste disposal for over 30 municipalities. In addition to arranging tourist services, the family-owned company plans and organises one-day and multi-day trips at home and abroad and carries them out with its own fleet of vehicles. The transport company is a specialist for group and club travel as well as for trips to events.
The sustainable use of resources has been an important concern for the management for years. GAST AG is the first car company in Switzerland to offer its customers the option of offsetting CO2 emissions.
