Caribana Festival
This is how it works:
You can make a voluntary «Cause We Care» contribution to the Caribana Festival at (contribution amount):
With these amounts, climate protection contributions are made to the extent of the calculated CO2 emissions generated during the stay at the Caribana Festival. At the same time, the Caribana Festival doubles the contributions and invests them in its own sustainability. In this way guests can achieve a double effect.
How does «Cause We Care» work?
Caribana is an open-air music festival on the shores of Lake Geneva. The festival is committed to a respectful approach towards the public and the environment. Created in 1990 by a group of friends, it takes place every year in the port of Crans-près-Céligny in the canton of Vaud. From the beginning, it has been managed exclusively by volunteers who have formed a non-profit association. The main objective of the Caribana Association is to organise this annual festive event, the centrepiece of which is a varied programme of music in a magnificent natural setting. It is the Caribana Festival that is the first open-air music festival to fully offset its CO2 emissions.
