This is how it works:
Guests of the Beau-Rivage Genève have the opportunity to voluntarily offset the CO2 emissions generated by their stay with myclimate, at a cost of CHF 5 per overnight stay or a contribution of 1 % on other services (events, seminars and banquets). At the same time, Beau-Rivage Genève doubles these contributions and invests them in its own sustainability through their “environmental plan 2020-2025”.
Family-owned since 1865, the Hotel Beau-Rivage Genève, with its exceptional location facing Geneva's Jet d'eau, is one of Geneva’s landmark luxury hotels. The Beau-Rivage, which can look back on an exceptional history, has always been forward thinking and has set itself the goal of taking a pioneering role in sustainable development. This includes training and motivating its own staff to act responsible towards the environment and being proud of the exceptional service they provide to guests.
Sustainability measures already implemented in the past include, amongst others, the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles, the offsetting of emissions generated from the use of natural gas or the partnership with the food waste reduction company “Too Good To Go“.
