Seehotel Wilerbad Seminar & Spa - A sustainable hotel in the idyllic Obwalden

While enjoying the breath-taking view over Lake Sarnen, guests of the Seehotel Wilerbad & Spa can now commit themselves to a greener future. For CHF 3.00 per person per night, guests have the opportunity to offset the CO₂ emissions of their stay with myclimate and to make a contribution to the operational sustainability of the hotel. The guests achieve a double effect with their contribution: The Seehotel Wilerbad Seminar & Spa doubles the contributions and invests in its own sustainability.

So far, guests have already had the opportunity to voluntarily forego room cleaning, with the aim of conserving the valuable resources of water and electricity. The effect of this measure enables the hotel to save on cleaning and washing agents, water and energy, and in return the guests are allowed a refund of CHF 5.00 per person per night – a win-win situation. With the money made available from the «Cause We Care» sustainability fund, further projects such as the renovation of the window fronts and the purchase of an electric charging station will be implemented over the next three years.
