Saastal Bergbahnen implements «Cause We Care»

Guests travelling with the railway company Saastal Bergbahnen can also participate in “Cause we care” today. When they buy the innovative season ticket WinterCARD or WinterCARD Gold with a voluntary contribution of CHF 2.00, they support sustainable projects both in Saastal and around the globe with myclimate. Saastal Bergbahnen matches every contribution its guests make. That means visitors to the region can make double the impact when they purchase a season ticket.

Saastal Bergbahnen is now the seventh company to implement the “Cause we care” mechanism and enable customers to make an active contribution to local and global climate protection. With this initiative, Saastal Bergbahnen is taking on greater responsibility for sustainable and climate-conscious tourism in Switzerland at the end of the United Nations’ International Year of Sustainable Tourism Development. For the 2017/2018 winter season, only upgrades to the WinterCARD Gold are being offered.
