For many years, myclimate has been committed to sustainability and climate protection in the tourism sector as a leading service provider. At this year's Hospitality Summit, the foundation once again presented its groundbreaking solutions and discussed the many possibilities and opportunities of climate protection for the hotel industry with representatives of the industry. The lively discussions focused on topics such as the myclimate programme "Cause We Care" implemented by numerous hotel companies, innovative climate strategies, effective CO2 balancing and resource efficiency measures as well as future-oriented climate education in the hotel industry.
The coveted "myclimate Hotel Award" was also presented as part of the Hospitality Summit 2023. This year, this award went to the Hotel Wartegg Castle. At Wartegg hotel, guests have the opportunity to make a sustainable contribution by making a voluntary climate protection donation as part of "Cause We Care". The donations flow into a myclimate climate protection project as well as into climate protection measures directly in the hotel.
The Hospitality Summit provides a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas relationships and the promotion of sustainable business in the tourism sector. Through the cooperation and commitment of the participants, the Summit contributes to making the tourism sector more sustainable and environmentally friendly. "We are very excited about the lively participation at the Hospitality Summit 2023 and the opportunity to showcase our expertise in sustainability and climate protection in the hotel industry," said Cornelia Rutishauser from myclimate. "It is crucial that the hotel industry takes its responsibility and integrates sustainable measures in its operations. The Hospitality Summit is an excellent platform to promote dialogue and work together on solutions for a more sustainable future.
