Since the 2021 summer season, the Hotel Schweizerhof Lenzerheide has been a member of the myclimate «Cause We Care» family. Thanks to the initiative, the hotel's guests have the opportunity to offset the CO2 emissions of their stay with myclimate and make a contribution to local sustainability by paying a voluntary surcharge for their overnight stay, their booked offer (events, seminars or banquets) or through the fixed integrated carbon offset contribution in the online shop. The Hotel Schweizerhof Lenzerheide doubles these contributions and invests them in its own sustainability measures.
One planned «Cause We Care» measure, which has already been implemented, is a raised garden bed project. The self-grown herbs are used for the herbal stamp massages in the «BergSpa». There are also plans to expand the hotel's own «BergAcker» project for the Scalottas restaurant - the local products obtained from this will ensure physical well-being and a culinary treat.
