Since 2000, particularly innovative projects and personalities in the Swiss tourism landscape have been honoured with the MILESTONE award. This is presented for the categories of innovation, newcomers, young talents and lifetime achievement. In 2019, myclimate’s «Cause We Care» was one of the top six projects nominated for the MILESTONE award in the innovation category.
Since its foundation in 1952, CIPRA has been bringing together people and organisations across linguistic, cultural, geographic and political borders who are committed to sustainable development in the Alps, doing so as an umbrella organisation since 1975. Its members are more than 100 associations, organisations and individuals. In 2019, Cipra presented myclimate’s «Cause We Care» with an award in recognition of its contribution to climate-friendly tourism in the Alps.
